The Church At Pine Hill has over 34 ministries. Pastor Bunion and Evangelist Bunion are servants of God who serve the Church At Pine Hill as well as the city of Valdosta and surrounding counties with excellence and integrity. Together they have touched many lives.

The mission of the Deacons Ministry is to demonstrate spiritual leadership by serving the Pastor and the congregation and by supporting the pastoral vision through evangelism, stewardship, and discipleship. The Deacons Ministry will promote harmony, encouragement, and support from the congregation. The Deacons Ministry will visit members who are ill, engage in ongoing membership interaction, assist with the coordination of Baptism and Communion, and fulfill other responsibilities as assigned.
The mission of the Deacons Ministry is to meet the needs of the church under the spiritual guidance of the Pastor and the Deacons by promoting spiritual growth. The Deaconesses should be viewed as respected and diligent co-laborlores serving the people of God.
The mission of the Trustee Ministry is to manage the material possessions and oversee the financial matters of the church with spiritual sensitivity. The church’s financial obligations, physical property, and all other assets are the responsibility of the Trustee ministry.
The Church At Pine Hill is passionate about going into the highways and hedges compelling induvials to come (Luke 14:23). Our Evangelism Ministry seeks to tell the Good News, encouraging those who are still in need of salvation to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
Ministry In Action provides tracts about salvation and various other practical topics as they witness to those in the surrounding communities, inspiring the lost to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.
As mighty men of valor, the mission of the Men’s Ministry is to live out the word of God that is being taught. The Men’s Ministry is designed to encourage men to take their rightful place as Sons of God. Every man needs to know and understand his divine position and destiny as a man of God to lead his family.
As victorious women of God, the mission of the Women’s Ministry is to equip, teach, and mentor women of all ages to be mighty and victorious women of God in every area of their lives. Under the direct leadership of Evangelist Bunion, the purpose of the victorious women of God is to:
- touch and teach women of ages, denominations, and every walk of life through the love of Jesus Christ;
- make a difference, as well as make an impact in our community and surrounding counties; and
- to provide an opportunity for women to meet one another’s needs and to fellowship with one another.
The mission of the Marriage Ministry is to structure relationships according to the word of God. The Marriage Ministry will aide couples in developing the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to be great husbands and wives in Christ Jesus. Couples will be encouraged to respect, revive, restore and refresh each other daily, thus preventing the principalities of darkness from them from their purpose and destiny.
The mission of the Singles Ministry is to empower singles to live a Christian life before the Lord and others. This ministry helps singles to walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him. Singles will be encouraged to bear fruit in every good work and increase in the knowledge of God while enjoying their singleness and purity.
The Church At Pine Hill’s Youth Ministry is “Breaking Barriers.” They are stepping up and out of Jesus. The youth are growing in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord. This ministry uses a holistic approach to minister to the youth of today, guiding them to become spirit filled and well-rounded adults of tomorrow.
The mission of the Senior Citizens Ministry is to strengthen, encourage, empower, and nurture the senior citizens of the Church At Pine Hill and the community with tender loving care.
The mission of the Hospitality Ministry is to greet everyone who comes to the Church At Pine Hill and make them feel welcomed. This ministry serves as the host/hostess for God’s house and will serve those who enter His house. As a result, visitors will be identified and assisted with whatever need they may have.
The Sunset Prayer Line provides intercessory prayer on behalf of our corporate ministry, as well as for individuals with specific concerns and requests.
The Homegoing Ministry is committed to providing spiritual support and comfort to our members by walking with them through their grieving process by extending the compassionate love of Jesus through our care, prayer, and our presence. This ministry will minister to members when they experience death in their family.
As an extension of the teaching from our Pastor, the Sunday School Ministry provides an in-depth study of the bible, assisting in building a closer relationship with God. Our Sunday School is a welcoming environment, where students are encouraged to ask questions, explore and expand their faith, and learn how to apply biblical principles to everyday Christian life.
The mission of the New Members Orientation Ministry is to provide discipleship training classes that assist our new members in further understanding their decision as a new believer and to become acclimated with the ministry of the Church At Pine Hill.
The mission of the Usher’s Ministry is to meet, greet, and seat visitors and members as they enter the sanctuary. Ushers are far more than door keepers, they embrace the care and wellbeing of members and visitors while maintaining order within the House of God so that the Holy Spirit can minster through the message.
The Transportation Ministry is responsible for transporting members and visitors to and from worship services.
The mission of the Dance Ministry is to inspire worship, illustrate the word of God, and to usher in the Holy Spirit through interpretive dance.
The mission of the Music and Worship Ministry is to usher God’s people beyond the veil and into His presence by setting the atmosphere for the ministry of the preached word.
The mission of the Parking Lot Ministry is to connect with people by making them feel welcomed before they get out of their vehicles. The major purpose of this ministry is to make our members and guests feel special. Parking Attendants will greet, direct, and provide assistence to members and guests as needed to ensure they have an enjoyable visit at The Church At Pine Hill.
The mission of the Cleaning Ministry is to clean the church weekly, maintaining the church so members and visitors will have a pleasant experience.
The mission of the Kitchen Ministry is to show the love of Jesus Christ through the serving of food and fellowship among the membership of our church.
The mission of the Building and Grounds Ministry is to be responsible for the overall care and maintenance of all properties owned by the Church At Pine Hill.
